Description:
D. The Work consists of the following:
A. The Work includes the following scope of work:
a. Exterior Door Replacement:
1) Removal and disposal of the existing doors and frames.
2) Supply of new doors, frames and glazing scheduled.
3) Supply of new finish hardware scheduled.
4) Supply and installation of storefront and vision panel framing
b. Window Replacement:
1) Removal and disposal of the existing windows, framing, glazing and insulated panels.
2) Protection of existing finishes, restoration of existing finishes.
3) Removal and reinstallation of air conditioning units. Air conditioning units are to be reinstalled within insulated panels that will permit the air conditioning units to be removed, and the frames glazed with 1” insulated glass at a future date.
4) Supply and installation of storefront and vision panel framing.
c. Locker Replacement/Display Case Installation:
1) Removal of the locker units, framing, associated framing and GWB finishes, and built-in display units.
2) Relocation of existing corridor lockers as noted. The Contractor shall supply additional loose locker trim in color(s) to match the existing as required to suit the installation at the location indicated.
3) Supply of new corridor lockers. Installation of new lockers shall include any and all trim and fillers required to suit, as well as new GWB, metal framing and masonry as indicated and as required to suit the new locker installation.
4) Supply and installation of new display cases. Installation of new display cases shall include any and all trim and fillers required to suit, as well as new GWB, metal framing and masonry as indicated and as required to suit the new locker installation.
5) Construction of new framed soffits and tackable wall panel existing conditions, including radiused panels and trim where lockers are installed within radiused walls.
6) Construction of seating units and associated masonry bases.
Addenda:
Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of NJSA 18A:18A-1 et. seq., the Public School Contracts Law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27.
IF NECESSARY, AN ADDENDUM WILL BE ISSUED ON Friday, February 12, 2010.
