The Work consists of the following: 1. Elementary School proposed roof systems ( White or Black Fleece Back EPDM, Fully Adhered): a. Base bid and roof areas added as an alternate: Non-reinforced black fleece back EPDM 115 mils over existing roofing system that has been prepared for the new membrane. 1) Re-roofing includes all new metal coping and fascia work. 2) Re-roofing includes removal and replacement of insulation and roof system in areas indicated that contain saturated insulation. b. Alternate roof system: Non-reinforced white fleece back EPDM 115 mils over existing roofing system has been prepared for the new membrane. 1) Re-roofing includes all new metal coping and fascia work. 2) Re-roofing includes removal and replacement of insulation and roof system in areas indicated that contain saturated insulation. 2. High School proposed roof systems (White or Black EPDM, Fully Adhered): a. Roof area added as an alternate: Complete tear off of existing insulation and EPDM roof system down to existing steel deck. New roofing system shall be black EPDM reinforced membrane 60 mils, over new rigid insulation. 1) Re-roofing includes all new metal coping and fascia work. b. Alternate roof system: Complete tear off of existing insulation and EPDM roof system down to existing steel deck. New roofing system shall be white EPDM non-reinforced membrane 60 mils, over new rigid insulation. 1) Re-roofing includes all new metal coping and fascia work.
