Bidding Information

Description:
1. Selective demolition responsibilities included within the scope of the pro-ject shall include the following Demolition of construction designated and required to accommodate the new work, including concrete ramps, land-ings and associated railing systems, existing asphalt shingle and metal roofing systems, building mounted drainage systems, exterior doors, door frames, framed steel and aluminum entrance vestibules and associated glazing systems, interior and exterior HVAC systems, accessories and re-lated equipment designated.
a. Demolition of construction designated and required to accommodate the new work, including ceiling alterations, non-asbestos containing floor finishes, doors, door frames as noted.
b. Existing concrete construction as indicated and as required to ac-commodate the scope of the work proposed.
c. Removal of wall mounted equipment and furnishings as designated and required to complete the scope of the proposed work
d. Preparation of existing masonry wall and substrates as required to accommodate the proposed construction.
e. Patching of building finishes damaged or altered as a result of the work of this contract
f. Cutting, patching and restoration of existing interior and exterior fin-ishes to the extent required to accommodate the work of this con-tract.
2. Installation of cementitious siding systems, trim, furring, insulation where indicated.
3. Site construction to the extent required to accommodate the proposed con-struction indicated including but not limited to alteration of existing storm systems to accommodate the work proposed.
4. Concrete construction where shown and as required to accommodate the new construction proposed.
5. Supply and installation of a new aluminum framed entrance systems for the Board Meeting Room Entrance, including glazing, doors, door frames and hardware as shown and indicated within the Contract Documents.
6. Supply and installation of new entrance carpet floor finishes within the new vestibule, including vinyl wall base and vinyl transition strips and reducers where flooring abuts adjacent floor finishes, including carpet finishes.
7. Construction of the extension of the existing roof framing systems over the proposed Board Meeting Room.  Work shall include the new founda-tions, framing and finishes shown and required,  new ceiling systems, and preparation for the installation lighting fixtures and other ceiling mounted devices.
8. Supply and installation of new asphalt shingle roofing and underlayment.
9. Structural repairs and modifications, including but not limited to roof sheathing replacement as required to accommodate the scope of this project.  NOTE: The scope of the Base Bid shall include the removal of up to 800 square feet of existing T&G roof sheathing and replacement with (25) 4’x8’ sheets of new 5/8” Exposure 1 CDX structural grade plywood.  The Contractor shall be compensated for plywood replacement in excess of this amount in accordance with the requirements of specification section 012200 - UNIT PRICES.  The Owner shall be due a credit in accordance with specification section 012200 in the event that the total quantity of plywood replaced is less than the quantity noted.
10. Supply and installation of new structural grade wood sheathing to replace existing deteriorated material.  Cost of the work shall in accordance with the Unit Price Schedule.
11. Replacement of existing metal roofing penetrations, flashings and accessories as delineated.
12. Replacement of existing doors as scheduled.  Application of new joint sealant systems specified and delineated within the Contract Documents.
13. Supply and installation of new interior signage indicated.

ii. Structural Steel Construction, including, but not limited
1. Miscellaneous steel framing and lintels as required to support and accom-modate new and enlarged or altered door openings, new or relocated me-chanical systems and roof openings.
2. Supply and installation of railing systems designated.

iii. Mechanical Work, including, but not limited removal of existing mechanical systems as indicated and required, supply and installation of new mechanical systems scheduled and indicated.  Equipment will be integrated into the BMS by the Owner’s integration Contractor (AME Inc.).

iv. Electrical Work, including, but not limited removal of existing electrical systems as indicated and required, supply and installation of new electrical systems, de-vices, lighting fixtures and accessories, relocation of existing electrical work in designated to remain but in conflict with new construction proposed as a part of this contract, and supply and installation of new electrical services shown and required for a complete operating system.  Operating systems shall include all mechanical systems, electrical operators and controls, and equipment scheduled to be provided as a part of this contract as well as under the scope of a separate contract(s).

Addenda:
If necessary, an addendum will be issued on or before Friday, October 30, 2026.
