Burlington County Institute of Technology - Medford Campus Kitchen Renovations

The project consists of the renovations to the existing culinary and food service kitchens at the Medford Campus of the Burlington County Institute of Technology, located in Medford, NJ. The existing 9,485 square foot culinary teaching kitchen, food service kitchen, cafeteria and servery will be completely renovated. The work will be constructed in two phases: Phase I - Temporary Kitchen shall consist of the installation of a separate 8'-0" by 40'-0" prefabricated temporary kitchen to be located adjacent to the existing structure. It is anticipated that the temporary kitchen will be in service starting on or about April 9th, 2018, through the end of the current school year. The scope of this project will include the supply of the temporary kitchen, installation of temporary serving lines within the school's existing cafeteria, and the installation of temporary utilities required to support the temporary kitchen and serving line operation. Phase II - Permanent Kitchen Renovations shall consist of the complete renovations to the existing culinary teaching kitchen, food service kitchen, cafeteria and servery. Improvements will include equipment replacement, upgrade and replacement of existing utilities, a reconfiguration of the space to accommodate culinary and food service operations, and replacement of interior finishes.
