The Bidder, or its sub-contractors, shall be classified by the State of New Jersey – Division of Property Management and Construction, and the New Jersey Schools Development Authority in one of the following classification:
The Bidder shall further name and include all required pre-qualification information for the following Subcontractors:
C009 “General Construction/Alterations and Additions”
C029 “Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron”
The Bidder, and any sub-contractor classified under the above categories must present evidence INCLUDED WITHIN THEIR FORM OF BID, of their pre-qualifications, including current New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA), Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) Copy of “Notice of Classification”, Current DPMC Copy of “Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts” and Business Registration Certificate.
Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of NJSA 18A:18A-1 et. seq., the Public School Contracts Law.

It is not anticipated an Addendum will be necessary.
a. General Construction, including, but not limited to
1) Demolition of construction designated and required to accommodate the new work, including abandoned concrete housekeeping pads, existing doors, hardware, glazing and storefront framing systems.
2) General Construction associated with the proposed pump mezzanine, including concrete deck fill and reinforcing, and alternating tread stair.
3) Supply and installation of new overhead doors, frames, operators and appurtenances. Work is to include construction of the box beam header and finish at the head of the door.
4) Cutting, patching and restoration of existing interior and exterior finishes to the extent required to accommodate the work of this contract.
5) Roof cutting, patching and restoration to the extent required to accommodate the work of this contract.
b. Structural Steel Construction, including, but not limited
1) Mezzanine framing systems, including structural steel framing, composite steel deck, and steel handrail systems.
2) Miscellaneous steel framing as required to support and accommodate new mechanical systems and roof penetrations.
c. Plumbing Work, including, but not limited gas services, water service, drainage systems and relocation of existing plumbing work in designated to remain but in conflict with new construction proposed as a part of this contract.
d. Electrical Work, including, but not limited to electrical demolition and relocation, relocation of existing electrical work in designated to remain but in conflict with new construction proposed as a part of this contract, and supply and installation of new electrical services shown and required for a complete operating system.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE OWNER:
a. Removal of all furnishings or loose equipment as required to accommodate the scope of this contract prior to the start of work and subsequent reinstallation of furnishings after final completion.
b. Access to standard single phase electrical service for light power equipment and tools required to perform the work. The contractor shall be responsible for the supply of temporary generators for three phase electrical service when and if required.
