Description:
The Work consists of the following: The Work as defined by the General and Supplementary Conditions, the extent of which is covered in the Contract Documents and is described herewith (briefly) and without force of effect upon the Contract Documents.
1. Electrical and General Construction:
Solar System Sizes:
Bobbys Run: Approximately 268 KW
Lumberton Middle School: Approximately 280 KW
a. Provide concrete pads for inverters, fencing surrounding inverters, concrete/asphalt cutting and infill for site trenches, roof penetrations and roof flashing.
b. Provide rooftop mounted solar photovoltaic system including but not limited to modules, AC wiring, DC wiring, inverter, kiosk, etc., for a fully functioning system.
c. Provide all new roofing work as indicated and required within the contract documents for installation of new equipment on roofs.
1. TYPE OF CONTRACT
A. Project will be constructed as one separate contract as follows:
1. Contract #1 – Electrical Construction Work
The Bidder, or its sub-contractors, shall be classified by the State of New Jersey – Division of Property Management and Construction, and the New Jersey Schools Development Authority in the following classifications:
C029 – Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron
C035 – Solar Energy Systems
C047 – Electrical
C066 – Roofing (EPDM)
C071 – Roofing (Metal)
Addenda:
Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of NJSA 18A:18A-1 et. seq., the Public School Contracts Law.
IF NECESSARY, AN ADDENDUM WILL BE ISSUED ON Monday, June 7, 2010.
